Real Wedding

Megan & Chris | Main Street Ballroom Wedding | Maryland Wedding Coordinator

Megan and Chris were married in Ellicott City, Maryland. A quaint historic town with charming details and beautiful buildings, the perfect backdrop. They tied the knot on September 21st and danced the night away in this special little town with their family and friends.

Throughout the planning process, Megan and Chris had their friends and family in mind for every detail. They wanted each person to feel the love through personal and unique details. From booking a local Bed & Breakfast for the girls to get ready in, to the thoughtful details throughout the decor, every aspect truly represented who they are as a couple. While it is difficult to pinpoint a specific event from the entire day, I absolutely loved that they had a reading of the Velveteen Rabbit during their ceremony. It's the personal touches like that, that really stand out, no matter how many weddings we are involved in.

The main decor piece was a large heart sculpted by one of their best friends, Peter Machen, out of metal. The heart was the backdrop to their ceremony and remained as the location to their sweetheart table. It was a stunning piece of art and represented the amount of love within that room. Other gorgeous details of the day included their signature drink menus, which had illustrations of their pups, beautifully designed florals for the bridal party and the custom Converse Megan and Chris rocked into the reception.

The group of people present to witness Megan and Chris getting married was perfect. If we could live this day over and over again, we absolutely would. Congratulations on 6 months of wedded bliss, you two!

Here’s to many, many more years!

Autumn & Gino | Lighthouse Sound | Maryland Wedding Coordinator

Nearing the end of 2017, we got a message with a message including photograph of two close family friends...plus a beautiful ENGAGEMENT RING! Gino popped the question while he and Autumn were on vacation and the wedding planning started as soon as they got home. We were off to the races discussing venues, color schemes, the whole nine yards for a beautiful spring Maryland wedding.

Ocean City, Maryland is a special place for many Baltimore locals, but especially Autumn and Gino, so anywhere near "the beach" as us Baltimoreans call it, would be the perfect setting for their wedding. After a few venue tours, Lighthouse Sound was deemed number one and the ideas continued to flow.

Gino is an architect for a landscaping company, so flowers, greenery, and even trees were a very important aspect to the big day, the Baltimore Ravens are a favorite (of course!) so purple was included in many ways, and these two have so many close relationships with friends and family that they were also thought of throughout the planning process.

A few of my favorite aspects were the escort herbs where each person had their herb sitting at their seat with a paper flag that had their name one it, the beautiful guest book tree that Autumn and Gino painted, and the FUN first dance they shared. It was a dance party once they kicked up the music!

Autumn and Gino are perfect for each other, they always make eachother laugh (as well as everyone else around them) and are so crafty that DIY projects were no struggle! Enjoy these photos from their special day!

2018: Our Best Year Yet | Maryland Wedding Coordinator

Who knew that having a baby during peak wedding season would still get us our best year ever? We met our goal early in the year, started booking for this year much earlier than we ever had, and we have been blessed with some of the most amazing clients.

2018 was full of meetings with the sweetest clients where we left feeling incredibly thankful for the couples that have faith in us. I truly think this will be a year I look back on forever, no matter how many couples we work with in the future. It was a learning year with a variety of styles, colors. etc., a wide array of different vendors and more.

It's hard to summarize all of the feelings we have for the several wedding weekends, beautiful sparkler send-offs and most importantly, couples that have shared the first day of their new adventure with us. Take a look back at some of the special days we were involved in throughout 2018 and follow along for the next few months as we work to recap each wedding (plus a few more that aren’t pictured!)!

Thank you to the amazing photographers we worked with in 2018 for sharing photographs with us! We truly couldn't have had such a wonderful year without you!
