The Baltimore Basilica & The Belvedere Spring Wedding | Maryland Wedding Coordinator

When it comes to gorgeous architecture and history, the Basilica and The Belvedere have you covered. We love these two locations so much and were honored to work there so often in 2018. We loved the design and details the couple paired with all of their fun locations throughout the day.

Starting at Hotel Monaco, the gals and guys got ready and prepared for the first look to take place on the classic steps within the hotel. Talk about a dream location! After the first look, the couple, bridal party and families were off to Johns Hopkins University, which was a special place for everyone.

The ceremony took place at the Baltimore Basilica which was the perfect church for this beautiful and traditional ceremony. After a heartfelt ceremony, the party kicked off at The Belvedere. We can't express how much we LOVE this venue! It's the perfect Baltimore location with a stunning view from each window, beautiful details throughout every room and floor, and an amazing ballroom with the perfect size dance floor.

Enjoy these photos from K & A's wedding day &

be sure to check out their other wonderful vendors!

Gift Guide For Your Newly Engaged Friends

Engagement season is once again upon us and with that comes engagement parties, bridal showers and bachelorette parties. If you are one to enjoy spoiling your friends and giving them a gift they will love, we want to make it easier for you. We're far past the days of towels, ironing boards and cutlery (though those are still great, too!) and into the age of "Wifey" shirts and custom glassware.

While some trends will never fade, because they are awesome, new ones have arrived and your engaged friends are going to thank you forever when they see the cutest gift from you.

1- Cute Phone Case. Because people change their phone cases every few months anyways, why not get them one that matches their season of life? We love this one from Love From Lucy  on Etsy.

2- Getting Ready Outfit. I couldn't choose between these two options, a white sleek bridal robe  is a classic, it's comfy and you can wear it again. Sincerely Sofi Designs is great for bridal robes and for the entire bridal party!

On the other hand, I love these fun shirts. You can get them customized to say anything, I would pick "after this we are getting fries" or fried pickles ;)

3- Wedding Planner. Every bride needs a fun paper wedding planner to take with her to meetings, and this Southern Weddings option is by far my favorite!

4- Pretty Hanger. This is so important for the wedding day. I've mentioned it several times before, you spend so much money on your beautiful dress, why leave it on a plastic hanger? Give your bestie this beautiful gift so she doesn't have to worry about it!

5- The Mrs Box. While these small velvet boxes are a bit expensive, they make detail shots! Once you know the colors of your friends wedding, this would make a beautiful gift! You can even have it monogrammed.

Do you have any gift ideas to add? Hopefully this list helps!

Personalize Your Wedding: Flower Girl & Ring Bearer Attire

Are you have little members of the bridal party at your wedding? If so, this post is for you! Pinterest is overflowing with endless options for those little's when it comes to what they wear, what they carry, and more. But how do those photos translate when it comes to your wedding? We're here to help! Especially since this is another way to really bring out your personality on your wedding day.

Let's start with who you have leading you down the aisle. Is it your niece or nephew? Your finances relative? Thinking about their relationship to you can spark some ideas as you go through these next few categories.

The Color
What are your wedding day colors? What color are the bridesmaids and groomsmen wearing? You could go opposite of the bridesmaid dresses for the flower girl, and a colorful shirt for the ring bearer that matches the grooms tie. You could also coordinate instead of fully match the colors. Think taupe with blush or dusty blue with grey. Take a look at your wedding colors and decor as a whole and pick what coordinates the best.

The Style
Puffy skirts and suspenders are adorable, but think about how it fits with the rest of your wedding. If you are having a barefoot wedding on the beach, you may want something light like a simple lace dress. There are so many beautiful options for flower girl dresses, even some that match the bride! For the little guys, should there wear a suit, a dress shirt with no jacket, maybe a bow tie? Consider what style the groomsmen are wearing.

What They Carry
The trend of ring bearers carrying signs is very popular right now, and there are many options. "Uncle John, here comes your bride" and similar tones. These are great ideas if you don't want them to carry a pillow or ring box. I also love the "ring security" idea. For the little gals, what style flowers should they carry? Will you go outside of the box and not give them flowers at all? Maybe a wand or ribbons? Think about all the options and go with what matches your wedding day!

Accessories
Oh the accessories! My favorite topic for this post. What items would complete the look to match your wedding theme? Should the ring bearer wear a bowtie, or newsboy cap? Should your flower girl wear a flower crown or even a big bow in her hair? There are a few adorable ideas for this, decide what works best and it will all come together!

Do you have any ideas for how to coordinate the children in the wedding with the rest of the bridal party?
