Megan and Chris were married in Ellicott City, Maryland. A quaint historic town with charming details and beautiful buildings, the perfect backdrop. They tied the knot on September 21st and danced the night away in this special little town with their family and friends.
Throughout the planning process, Megan and Chris had their friends and family in mind for every detail. They wanted each person to feel the love through personal and unique details. From booking a local Bed & Breakfast for the girls to get ready in, to the thoughtful details throughout the decor, every aspect truly represented who they are as a couple. While it is difficult to pinpoint a specific event from the entire day, I absolutely loved that they had a reading of the Velveteen Rabbit during their ceremony. It's the personal touches like that, that really stand out, no matter how many weddings we are involved in.
The main decor piece was a large heart sculpted by one of their best friends, Peter Machen, out of metal. The heart was the backdrop to their ceremony and remained as the location to their sweetheart table. It was a stunning piece of art and represented the amount of love within that room. Other gorgeous details of the day included their signature drink menus, which had illustrations of their pups, beautifully designed florals for the bridal party and the custom Converse Megan and Chris rocked into the reception.
The group of people present to witness Megan and Chris getting married was perfect. If we could live this day over and over again, we absolutely would. Congratulations on 6 months of wedded bliss, you two!
