From the night I spoke with Yolanda over the phone about the adorable way James proposed (on the beach in Lewes) we knew they would be the best couple to work with. Their love for each other was undeniable and that was made even more aware as we sat in Panera a week after our first phone call going over wedding details. As we all counted down the days to their wedding, the excitement grew stronger for all of us. The nautical details, the fact that their ceremony was taking place as the ferry was arriving, and the beauty of their love story all came together to be the perfect day.
No matter what happened throughout their day, they were calm and had full trust in their vendor team. Even when we found out 18 hours before the wedding that the only road in and out of the ceremony location would be closed for two hours right around their ceremony time, they were calm, cool, and collected knowing that no matter what we would make it work. Their wedding was beautiful from beginning to end. Yolanda had not one but three beautiful dresses, we loved them all! They started the reception with the coolest first dance, and ended the evening when they thanked their guests and were off through a tunnel of sparklers.
On top of Yolanda and James having a beautiful day all around, working with a bride that has everything together makes everything that much better! Yolanda had labeled bins with every detailed aspect of the wedding inside of them- the organization brought a tear to my eye.
